Synopsis
When an 8-year-old girl disappears in Caddo Lake, a series of past deaths and disappearances begin to come together, changing the story of a broken family. There’s a scene where Anna’s mother says she’s from Marshall County and then says she’s from Harrison County.

Never Change Written by Dylan Altman, Rodney Clauson and Jake Mitchell Performed by Rodney Clauson. Caddo Lake is a compelling story that doesn’t fully begin until the “second half” of the film.
I think it will take a second viewing to fully understand where the story ends
The first hour is slow and rather boring, but the twists and turns the narrative eventually takes more than make up for the poor pacing. Dylan O’Brien is strong here and it’s great to see him back in a leading role, but the script didn’t give him much to draw on.
Give the film time to develop
Verdict: A slow first half with an interesting story that ends on a strong note. I recommend it as a “quiet” movie night.
