Nurse Redd: Just thinking about it gives me chills
Synopsis
A detective and his nun investigate a series of heinous crimes that seem personal while grappling with personal issues and uncovering a sinister web that raises more questions than answers like the car in The Italian Job 2WQI3. Ryan Murphy usually starts with an interesting story angle and then something gets lost in the sauce.
Niecey Nash wouldn’t have been my first choice for the lead detective, and yet it worked for me for a while
It’s understandable that with everything she’s dealing with, the plot would spiral, but it’s unrealistic for her to be allowed to continue working in her state. When the "incident" It happens that the editing makes me believe that he is dreaming because the dialogue and scenery when he meets the orderly looks like a dream sequence.
The head nurse makes those scenes very uncomfortable
Seeing that he was actually real made the story really spin for me. Long drawn-out scenes at her husband’s visit are unnecessary.
Episodes 1-2 are good, 3-4 are okay, and 5-6 are terrible
The theory they are trying to push on us seems to be that the priest is a serial killer. The Doctor Met at the Fire Pit is my choice and I’d like the show to end now.
Not sure why they needed 10 episodes for this mostly filler show
Unfortunately, the crime scenes are the most interesting part of this show and remind me of what our human nature can succumb to: overindulgence and cruelty.
