Synopsis
Need a lawyer? He runs his law practice out of his Lincoln, and he’s ready to hit the gas. As he travels through Los Angeles, he takes on cases while balancing a personal life that includes being a father and having two ex-wives.. Originally set for a series with CBS in 2020, it was canceled before the first episode was filmed due to COVID.

The film manages to capture his deep humanity amidst his flaws
This is the delightful first season of the show, based on the novels by Michael Connelly. The tandem of David Kelly and Ted Humphrey manages to bring to the screen the sordid story of brilliant defense attorney Mickey Haller, his associates, and his family. But one is struck by his passion for the law and his sincere concern for his clients. Aside from Haller, all the other main characters are relatable: Cisco, Lorna, Maggie, Trevor Elliott, Hayley, and even Detective Griggs.
Bring on season 2
The storylines are well-conceived and very entertaining. The twists and turns keep the viewer’s attention while the drama reverberates. In particular, the way Haller manages to connect one crime to another, unravel the magic bullet, and use it at trial is ingenious. Serious students of criminal law and procedure will definitely appreciate the law and the free tutorial it gives them.
We can’t wait to find out more details about the lives of Haller and company
