Synopsis
CIA agent Joe tries to balance her personal and professional life as the tip of the spear in the agency’s war on terror. Real-life military advisors helped produce a more authentic execution of weapons handling, house-clearing, deployment, squad-based activity, etc. Referenced in Soberano Awards (2024). If you’re into the genre, you’ll love this one because it’s as much about the adrenaline and intrigue as it is about the real-life issues that everyday people go through. It was refreshing to see relatable things in the midst of all of this. Finally, I was also pleased with the unexpected plot twists and how you can’t predict how certain situations will play out; on the contrary, I would find myself waiting for the stereotype when that would actually defeat the purpose. I really hope they make a season 2. All of the characters were top-notch, and I’d love to see how they develop the story.
