The cast really delivers great performances
The storytelling is strong, with twists that keep you engaged, and the cinematography captures the vivid atmosphere well. That said, I have to point out that Ms.

Her performance came across as very one-dimensional, and it was unfortunately a standout in an otherwise strong, nuanced cast. It’s not about race — I can think of several talented black actresses who could have brought more depth and complexity to the role.
