The world’s most famous superhero and comics’ most famous journalist grapples with the pressures and complexities of balancing work, justice, and parenthood in today’s society. The pilot pays homage to Action Comics #1 (Superman’s debut) by featuring the hero’s original Golden Age costume in live-action for the first time.

. Superman & Lois is a lot more fun than its rather generic title might suggest.
Superman & Lois may feel completely disconnected from the rest of the Arrowverse, but that could be a selling point for many viewers
The series makes the most of Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch’s chemistry, exploiting the two characters and their romance in a way that Supergirl never could. The only thing one can hope for from this show is that it remains a balanced mix of genres, and not a soap opera like the others on the CW.
I really hope the writing and script stay creative and entertaining
But the premiere is definitely likable, and that intense cinematography gives a sense of the Man of Steel mixed in with Smallville.
