Synopsis
Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad for a private investigator and becomes a mole in a secret investigation at a nursing home. Based on the Chilean documentary “El Agente Topo”. Remake of Salainen agentti vanhainkodissa (2020). As I write this, I am on episode 5. This show is hilarious, keeps you thinking and is honestly a delight. Ted Danson is brilliant as always. The other actors, engaging and fascinating in this series “Who Done It”. I am equally engaged with the criminal aspect as I am with the human aspect of loneliness. Each of us, no matter our age, brings something new to the table. I feel the warmth of the message without all the sappy sentimentality. The comedy is beautifully woven so that the laughs are genuine. I hope this show continues on the journey that I am really enjoying so much. Bravo to the writers, actors and directors who have made this show a gem.
