Synopsis
Growing up in the Amazon rainforest has gifted Autumn with the rarest of friendships: a lost jaguar cub she discovers named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope behind for the unknown of New York City, she dreams for years of returning to the rainforest and her friend. Now 14 and accustomed to city life, Autumn discovers that her childhood village is under threat from animal traffickers and decides to return to the Amazon and her beloved jaguar. Autumn’s endearingly awkward biology teacher Anja (Emily Bett Rickards) tries unsuccessfully to talk her out of this reckless plan. Together with Anja, Autumn embarks on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from those who seek to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
