He’s lovable
Synopsis
He’s smart. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer, who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. During season 8, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas.
His son David Zayas Jr
fills in for his father in a few scenes, as the two look remarkably alike. Visible throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in season 2, the scar moved to his right side, leaving his left side unmarked.

Dexter Morgan: I lived in the darkness for a long time. Over the years, my eyes adjusted, until the darkness became my world and I could see. Main theme Written by Rolfe Kent Acted by Rolfe Kent.
Dexter is creating a believable and very detailed portrait of a, shall we say, troubled sociopath
Dexter, a forensics expert by day, is a serial killer with a touch of vigilante by night. One of my favorite parts of the show is the emotions that normal people display, forcing Dexter to imitate them. There are some good laughs when the emotions that Dexter fakes become real, and he becomes afraid of dying, as in his relationship with his “girlfriend” Rita, a mother of two and victim of her abusive ex-boyfriend.
A gripping story, lots of details, and one of the best opening sequences of all time
I also liked Jennifer Carpenter’s performance as Dexter’s sister Debra, it adds a nice touch of color to the show, without falling into clichés.
