The prequel to the original Dune tells how the Rossak sisterhood evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The instance where Valya Harkonnen uses the voice is from an event called “Mentats of Dune”. All three books intertwine the development of the Sisterhood, the Mentati, the Navigators and the Suk Doctors.
The quality was good
I find it pretty silly how many people are complaining about this show after one decent pilot. I would give 7.6 for the first episode. It wasn’t a masterpiece, but it certainly wasn’t ugly like many of these stupid reviewers are giving it.
NO, it’s not like Sex in the City
And YES, the entire Benne Ghesserit mission is to manipulate bloodlines in politics. It’s been said about movies and books, so where do you people give it 1-5 stars? Let’s release a couple more episodes first, dammit!
Stop rating the series so extreme after just one episode
