When maple syrup producer Ruth Landry discovers her livelihood is under attack by greedy competitors who were once her friends, she concocts a plan to get revenge and turn the industry upside down. Loosely based on the 2011-2012 theft of $18 million worth of maple syrup.
I can’t count on one hand how many shows I thought were amazing but ended with an unresolved cliffhanger
The show deserves a higher rating, but cutting the season to 6 episodes just so it could be 2 seasons was a stupid decision on the part of whoever decided to do it. I understand that cliffhangers are all the rage, but how many times have shows not been renewed and the people who enjoy them been disappointed?
Just a few examples, My Name Is Earl, Ash VS
Evil Dead, and Last Man On Earth; but there are MANY more I could list (if only to fill the stupid 600 letter requirement). The viewers who invest time in these shows are the ones who get screwed and that happens a lot these days.
