Liam Neeson was diagnosed with CTE by a doctor
Synopsis
An aging gangster tries to reconnect with his children and make amends for the mistakes of his past, but the criminal underworld won’t willingly loosen its grip. Liam Neeson started boxing at the age of 9 and boxed at the amateur level until he was 17. A definitive diagnosis of CTE can only be made after examining brain tissue after a person’s death.
Jurassic Park Literature (1993)
This diagnosis should have been predictable, given the other possibilities and possible treatments. Thug: Were you born without a filter? Or is it something you had to work on?.
It’s definitely slow, but I feel like it’s unfolding well
Lucky NumberWritten by Lene Lovich, Leslie Chappell (as Leslie Chappell)Performed by Lene Lovich Licensed with the support of Oval Music and Oval Sounds (PRS). I was expecting another Liam Neeson-directed action movie, but this is a more thoughtful film. You really get the feeling that the guy regrets his choices in life at the end.
You also get the feeling that he was destined for this life
I think the development of Liams character over the course of the film creates your feelings for him. This is a flawed/violent man who eventually becomes increasingly desperate to reconcile with the family he left behind. The film deals a lot with generational abuse and neglect, and the chaos and struggle that leads to generation after generation.
Also, I felt that the film was brilliantly written
If you want to take your time and enjoy Neesons’ more nuanced performances, you should enjoy it.
