Unravel the mystery of a town in the middle of the United States that imprisons anyone who enters. As residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. Check out our list of renewals and cancellations to see if your favorite show has been picked up. The town set was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia. The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, fire station, school, church, convenience store, etc. (all demolished in 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. The paved roads and driveways were all that remained and the fictional town was built on top of them. When Boyd enters a distant tree he finds himself at the bottom of a well. A rope is lowered down to him. When Boyd comes out of the well, Martin is the only one in the room and he is chained to the wall. The rope was not thrown by Martin. Very intriguing series. Good storytelling. Good characters, as in most of them, have common sense. Good horror TV series. Gory as hell in parts. Lots of mysterious things to think about. I really enjoyed the first season and hope they make another. There aren’t many good horror TV shows out there anymore. This is a good show, in my opinion.
